The main policy decisions are made by the National Policy Forum (NPF), a body consisting of 183 people, elected by members from all sections of the party. Their decisions have to be confirmed by the Labour Annual Conference.
The NPF has six commissions dealing with different policy areas.
They are:
Britain in the World |
|---|
Creaking sustainable Communities |
Crime, Justice, Citizenship, and Equalities |
Education and Skills |
Health |
Prosperity and Work |
Who can make submissions? Individuals or groups. However, it should always be made clear who is making the submission, and whether they have any specialised knowledge.
There is much information on the Labour Party's website about particular policies - see www.labour.org.uk
